The TY 250: The first modern era trials bike!
In 1983, the new TY 250 arrived from Japan. It was compact, low, narrow, well protected, and lightweight, weighing in at 83 kg. It was completely new, featuring a very progressive “monocross” rear suspension system that gave it excellent grip. With it, the era of modern trials began, and Yamaha crushed the competition with this new model.
